Got me an 05 Audi S4 Sedan!

Picked this thing up a few days ago. Very happy with it. Good power, and the 6speed gearbox is smooth like butter! Don't know if all of them are like that.

It's Dolphin Gray with Black interior. Black Recaro leather seats with white alcantara inserts. Has a different grill on it already.

-Fast Intentions Cat-Back (x-pipe with 14" resonators)
-New Floor Mats

-Springs&Shocks
-Wheels

Also, do people know if it's hard to replace the window buttons on the driver side door panel? The button set is pretty cheap at 92 bux but I don't want to replace the whole door to switch em out.

Gonna try to take it in for the slow speed full turn sounds I hear from driver side.

The gearbox is definitely smoother than the A4 I used to have. It makes the torque delivery very consistent, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on how smooth it is, while in reality it is tearing tarmac as it drives along. Just like a swoosh that carries you very very far away from where you used to be.

And yes, some pictures please. Make sure you also post on the picture thread so page 31 will consist of nothing but dolphin grays.

The buttons aren't very hard to replace. Just takes patience. You do need to pull the door card but I believe there is a DIY on a4mods.com.

I'm the same way. I actually prefer the 4-spoke Multifunction ("captain's wheel") over the 3-spoke B6 wheel. My lazy ass likes to use the buttons to change radio stations and the volume.

I do like the B7 style wheels better but not enough to spend several hundred-$1000+ to get one, not to mention not having any confirmation whether the dual-stage airbag works or not

I change my mind, don't change the steering wheel. MFSW is good for leaning back into the recaro and just mellow out on cruises while you go though your music collection.

I looked at that car on Autotrader but it was too far away. Ended up getting this one in TX with nearly the same specs (color, interior, miles) but with the 3 spoke steering wheel and already has 19" RS4 replicas. Black out that grill TODAY. Clear corners and the front is done. Paid $17,500 for mine... you?

Congrats to all, I just picked up my Silver '05 about 3 weeks back. I'm with pecka though, I've got the all black Recaro's and didn't get the captain wheel either.... Love it though!

Just picked up the exact same car, but mines an 04. I'm really happy with the color combo, the two tone seats set these cars interiors apart. Mine had 55k miles, do you mind me asking how much you picked yours up for?

I also have a Dolphin Grey 6MT S4 Sedan with the Fast Intentions Catback with 14" resonators. Trust me... You will want to do the piggie pipes and JHM tune to complete the package and take advantage of the better exhaust flow.

Like many others have said (if you do a search)- It really makes the car drive the way it should have from the factory, if there were no noise and emissions regulations. To clarify- you will still pass emissions with the piggie pipes where the main catalytic converter is left in tact (only the pre-cats are gutted).

I did everything in steps. FI catback 1st, then Piggies, then JHM tune. Piggies Throttle response was the biggest plus for me after getting the tune (eliminates any hesitation when romping the gas pedal). No negatives to report at all.
