We'll see... Maybe not the first couple sessions, since A) I haven't actually driven this track before (only watched a million races, but that doesn't count ), B) I'm pushing the limits of the stock brakes as it is, and C) I started to hear the "turbo lady" sing recently during a couple chipped street runs, so I'm really not sure the car could take a 20-25min session of WOT in July! It's a long tow ($$$$) from Sebring to Miami, so it's kind of risky IMO. If I DO run chipped, it would only be the last session so I don't throw away my entry fee and waste the trip blowing a turbo in the first session

My dad is probably coming down from JAX in his new TT-S to watch, and I've been trying to convince him to run the car, but I doubt it... Even though he has his SCCA competition license and has been racing before I was around, the car has less than 1000 mi on it so he's prolly gonna chicken out I'll let you know otherwise...

The other guy looking for pairing is the B8 S4, not sure what tune, but he has those sexy Alcons with the stasis name on the calipers.

We do know the truth..... If someone is in your rear view mirror, then they are faster! Haha!

I love that track, I actually signed up with Chin so I can go more often, not sure exactly when but they have several dates in the fall/winter.

Yeah, I really enjoyed this track too, as challenging and rough as it is on some of the turns (mostly 1, 16, and 17). I kinda wished it was a 2-day event cause I was just getting the braking and turn-in points towards the end of the day, and the 2nd & 3rd laps of my last session (solo run) felt really, really good. No traffic or instructors breaking my concentration; the tires & brakes were at perfect temps; and the 200lbs weight savings (sans instructor) made a noticeable difference. Car felt really quick. That fully race-prep'd Mitsu EVO from the Intermediate/Advanced group was out there with us (must have lent his car out to someone for the Novice group), and he was trying to sneak up on my tail after the 1st lap (warm-up speeds for me)... But he never got closer than a turn or so back though, and I eventually lost him after the 3rd lap. That EVO is a full-on race car and should have waxed me with a semi-decent driver. I also held off that white 997 GT3 for a 1/4 lap or so (figured the driver was inexperienced), but eventually gave him the point-by cause I couldn't shake him and he kept creeping closer... I was able to hang behind him for another 1/4 lap or so, but he was braking crazy late and just way too quick around the turns, so I finally gave up on that futile effort He came over afterwards though and was totally cool about it - Not like that dickhead in the CTS-V you had to deal with

I would definitely love to come back this fall/winter when temps drop off a bit... It was brutally hot out there, but totally worth-it just the same.
