    Ill try my best to describe my questionning but on the bumper shocks, the space that but the bumper bolt in to lock the bumper in place, does it have bolt thread or its a flat hole with no thread ?"
    Audi A4 2001 1.8 TQM

    I don't think it's threaded. Pretty sure the bolt slides right through and threads into the metal bumper support/bracket.

    The nut for that bolt is located on the top side of the bumper support bracket. So the bolt slides thru the bottom of the bumper bracket, thru the bumper shock and then into the nut on the top.


    You can see the nut bracket in this picture.

    E The nuts in the renfort bracket are loose...im trying to find a way to bolt the bumper solidely in place...

    Well they are loose to allow some movement when as you install it, but once you have the bolt tight the nut bracket will be locked in place.

    ohh ... ok i see. so i just need to align the nuts correctly ...
