The roof and trunk were in rough shape (scratches and dents) so...

Instead of having them both painted I decided to match the CF hood look with the roof and the trunk and this would also match the rear side window's look.

So I had the roof and the trunk wrapped in a CF looking vinyl...

OK I gave in to the ones requesting some additional pictures of the car.

However remember the car is far from being complete as of now.

We still need to get some fender flare on there. The hood vent as not been installed yet. The front bumper /body kit will me most likely modified in the future to incorporate some air vents for brake cooling and some sort of splitter.

The wire mesh/grills to match the radiator grill have not been installed yet in the front or the rear.

The door blades were removed to save weight (8-10 lbs) and we have a light weight solution for that too but I haven't had the time to install them yet.

Also the CF vinyl wrap for the bottom part of the trunk lid could not be installed in time yesterday so that will most likely happen in two weeks from now.

Please note that the wheels on the car are only from moving the car around. They are 17 inch by 8 inch ET35 BBS RCs with 15mmm H&R spacers. Once the 14 inch rotors go in I will have to switch to my cheap 18 inch transport wheels.

For lapping I use a set of custom made (5x112) Volk Racing TE37 (painted black) in an 18 x 9.5 size with an ET of 22mm. Right now on those wheels I have some Hoosiers R6 “R” compound tires in a 285/30/18. That’s why we needed to cut the fenders.

My Time Attack wheels are a set of custom made Rotiform SJC in an 18 x 10 size with an ET of 16mm. Again as of now I’m running the Hoosier tires until I decide to try some Hoosier slicks or Michelin slicks.

Lastly for the rain I have another set of Work wheels that I use for rainy days with the latest Hoosier wets, nothing too fancy like the other two sets of wheels, these are cast. They are 18 x 9.5 with an ET of 20mm.
