Good luck! Let us know how it goes

So, this has been a fairly long process, just over 3 weeks. Swapping a transmission on your back is one thing, doing it in your yard, on the grass (I did have plywood between me and the grass/dirt), is an entirely different animal. There have been several days along the way, where I have not been able to work on it at all.

Last Thursday, I was able to get everything forward of the flex pipes tightened down and torqued to spec. I also got the main drive shaft CV joint cleaned and reassembled (yes, on my back, under the car). Today the rear wheels come off the ramps so I can get the CV bolts torqued down. then it is just the exhaust and Fill it up if I have enough Lifeguard 8

Nice, for others who want a tip floss works great to cut through the glue behind the badges

    This is what I did.
Heat Gun + Dental Floss/Fishing Line. Then Goo Gone (NOT Goof Off!) to remove any remaining residue, glue, etc.
    Wax to polish after.

What did you do to your C6 today?

Reinstalled alu-optic stone guards after installing upside-down. Stone guards are OEM from a 2010 S5 ordered off amazon. A steal of a deal.
