Not sure why - I was just thinking that those SQ wheels actually really work on the C6.

As requested. Sits a little higher in the rear now, so that reverse rake dog poop scoot is gone.

Man just checked, set of 2014 $1000 a piece but driver side is ripped. German eBay has a lot but so expensive and the shipping has to be as well.

Those look like aftermarket Recaros. One day I might break the bank for the real thing, who knows.

    Added some shift extensions.

Was really apprehensive about this at first, but figured they are easily removed, so what the heck.

I actually like them. They help my short fingers reach the shift without moving my hands from 10&2 or from 4&8. They also - rather surprisingly - add a metal feel to the plastic "aluminum" OE paddles. I also like the way they look in my lower periphery when looking ahead.

As for feel, I was initially concerned with slop and play at the far end, but the shift is a rather quick tap with decent feedback.

My only real niggle is seeing the OE + / - symbols along with the added ones. Maybe I'll go back to the black OE paddles to match......hmmmm.

    Mirror caps - done
    RS grill - done
12mm spacers all around - done, but needs height adjustment
    Wheels - done
CV boot, Hub, Bearing - saved for next Thursday

Almost ready for the season, but the functional parts didn't shop in time.

I hate having to edit the orange marker out of pics so I left it in. Wrapping that is definitely next on my to do list. And I have to remount my ref plate because that primer colored cap is ugly, hence why all the photos are from the same direction.

Ordered an H&R 25mm rear bar to go with the H&R springs/bilsteins that my buddy and I installed last weekend. Probably should've planned ahead and gotten the bar at the same time as the suspension but initially wasn't planning on doing bars but ended up finding a deal on a new rear that I couldn't pass up. So after that shows up back on the lift the car goes.

That is a good investment IMHO. Even at full pop. It really helps flatten out the car in turns. Highly recommended.
It is adjustable so I would go on the outside setting first. There have been instances where the end of the bar drags on the axle when set to the inside setting and the car is lowered. I have not experienced it but I know of others that have.

I've been reading about the potential for rubbing and was considering shaving the bar before install. Did bars front and rear in the b5 and b7 so I hope it makes the same difference with the c6.5, it's one of those things where I know it makes a huge difference but I always end up saying "oh that's like $400 more I'll do it later" and feeling like a cheap ass

My spacers failed a balance and alignment so I feel dumb for going eBay on that purchase. I've learned to spend premium money for less issues overall

I had no issue with the rsb on high and lowest setting with half a finger gap drop. Now currently on the softer setting as high tends to over steer, and for me i didn't like the feeling of that.

I've noticed a couple people saying the stiff setting will oversteer but it seems like they're all sedan drivers. Any wagon owners with the bar set on stiff having oversteering issues?

No issues with oversteer on my avant. I keep thinking I need to get a FSB as well as there seems to be a little more room for improvement.

I installed a 5V USB output (1A) by bastardizing at 12V cigarette plug and using the guts. It's fused to the self-leveling suspension slot which I will never use, and grounded to a bolt.

It's there so I can hardwire in my camera and A2DP Bluetooth module cleanly.

I am really liking the mirrors, are they caps that sit over or replacements?

One of my mirrors has lost some paint in a scratch and my plan to do a paint correction will not take care of that so I was mulling over my options.

Do you have a link to them?

    Cheers,

Shipping take a while but they fit 100% like OEM. Just go slow and use a trim remover tool for the clips. Also going to need a T8 bit to get screws out.

Ever think of limo tinting those marker lights? It would be very dark, but still show light when they need to. Give your car an even sleeker look. Just a thought though. Nice ride!!
