could someone clear something up for me here...we can adjust the n75 to allow more boost, but if my tune is only requesting 18psi...im guessing im not going to hit much more than that, or am i wrong?

Your tune no longer has control over such things, if I'm not mistaken... This is a boost controller, and I believe it uses the n75 to its liking

I registered on eurodyne forum before I got my account for BMP, I guess they're two different things, not too much traffic there, there's some info about maestro though

The B6 section has a nice Maestro thread.

If you have Maestro, you can max out the map for you Boost Duty, so that the ECU is always requesting maximum boost, so you don't throw a code for an over boost if you are using BMP to control boost, a MBC, or EBC.

I think Maestro is already selling pretty well, and the there are quite a few B6's running it. Also there are a few of us B7 guys that have it now. Joe, bman, and myself that I know of. But the more the merrier.

I honestly don't think that will happen, since it has already had a lot of exposure over the past 2.5/3 years.
I have had Maestro on my car for a little over 2 years now. I don't know why anyone would choose anything else. It is the last tuning solution that you will ever need. I have over 70 files for my car, for various different setups. Most of you don't know me (I'm a B6 A4 1.8T BAT guy) but I have had multiple turbo setups, and a decent amount of experience tuning with Maestro. The learning curve is steep, initially, but if you have a basic understanding of how the Motronic ECUs work, you can figure it out and have a good handle on it in no time. I also bought a few books on EFI tuning, a couple pertaining specifically to Bosch ECUs, and they helped immensely. It's not hard to understand if you are willing take a few hours out of your time and really do some research. But I think that anyone that is serious about the performance, and modification of their cars(s), would do this type of research anyways, even if they don't want to tune themselves.
Knowledge is power, literally in this case

thats awesome to hear, i was on the fence last year with maestro and really didnt think i would have the time to tune my car effectively...
now i know that i am super interested in learning that side of my car, and with the constant changes in available fueling for our FSI motors, i really want something that i can update and play with without waiting on a tuner who is busy with other cars, or un aware of said updates to hardware available...
now more than ever that i have the eurodyne BM+...

good to hear that, since you've already went through the learning curve, could you recommend the best books to start with?

I have a couple amazon links posted in my build thread, in the B6 section, but they are at my house in PA, and I can't remember the titles of them lol.
I'll have to look through my build thread and see if I can find the links to post in here.

These books are great reading material, and you can learn a lot about tuning from them, but you guys will have to look more into direct injection tuning, and find some reading material specifically pertaining to direct injection tuning, since it is a little different.

Lots of good info, I'm very interested so I can start learning this aspect.
I'll talk to Mike@Vast, ultimately need to find a
Way to fit maestro
In the budget ontop of everything else

Maybe we can try to keep all Eurodyne Maestro/BMP information and discussion in this thread, so that it is all in one place, and easier for people to search? Like the "Great Maestro Tuning Thread" in the B6 section.
Unless someone would rather me start a "Maestro/BMP Tuning Thread", and C/P some of the info from this thread into that one. Honestly though, it would probably be faster if someone else started it, because I have a lot going on this week. Right now I have to get off here and start logging and working EPL on a tune for a B7 RS4 that is on our dyno.
