    Need help solving the mystery

I have an odd problem with my 07 A3 S-Line DSG that my dealer has yet to resolve. Every day (it used to be once a week) my A3 will jerk/jolt when I'm accelerating from a rolling or full stop. The other issue is when slowing down to turn and then speeding up, it has no power but the RPMs are really high. There is also a tinging sound, only at idle. I've gone through forum after forum trying everything suggested and even replacing common faulty components. I have ONLY ever had intake manifold runner solenoid through a CEL (and was subsequently replaced under warranty), never anything else.

So far I have replaced the following (some peices resolved fuel economy and other issues): Intake Manifold Runner Solenoid, PCV Valve/Gasket/Attached Hoses, Rear Breather Tube/Valve, DV Valve, Coil Packs/Spark Plugs, EVAP Purge Valve, Boost Frequency Valve, MAF Sensor, High/Low Fuel Pressure Sensors, Fuel Pump Camshaft Follower/Gasket, ECT Sensor, DSG Mechatronics Unit, and Timing Belt/Tensioner.

I've come to the conclusion either the DSG is still not operating properly or the fuel pump is cutting out a WOT.

Any thoughts, directions, or crystal ball predictions? I'm at a loss and I'd like to get it resolved before my warranty runs out.

    Thanks!

I think you have 2 issues. 1) It sounds to me like you may have a wet clutch issue with the DSG 2) Your tinging sound may be your Dual Mass Flywheel rattling (relatively common). I've replaced 15-20 flywheels on dsg cars.
Gonna push this little K03 until it can take no more

I second that opinion, we have seen a few dsg vehicles coming in lately with clutch issues.
