Turbo Emblem On a Sweet Avant
I saw a picture on here a few weeks back of a nice a4 avant with instead of the audi rings it had a porsche turbo emblem. If anyone could post the link to that pic becuase i cant remember where it was...I would love to do the same but not sure which turbo emblem it was. Thanks

If you do it make sure its the actual Porsche emblem and not the ones they sell on ebay for 10 bucks...

Why would you do that? It looks dumb, on any Audi.

I LOVE those wheels on 911s, but they just don't look right on that A4, and I have to agree with the overall sentiment of the thread so far: leave the Porsche badges on Porsches - that's where they belong.

why does everyone hate on these? i think it looks cool. if the car is done right. especially on the last pic there. and the average person out there doesn't know its a porsche emblem.

Why do you need to advertise that you have a turbo on a 1.8 4-cylinder engine? I don't understand what you're trying to state when you run a badge that obnoxiously large on a relatively plain motor (even when built, it's still a 4 cylinder underneath and not impressive enough to brag with a big turbo emblem).

The car has a turbo, so whats the big fuss about putting the emblem on... Thats how I see it. I wouldnt even with 2 turbos, but I'm just saying.
Same way people put the DOPE logo on cars I personally may not feel "qualify" for the badge. Its the owners car.
Just felt like chiming in. lol

Ever since I started driving I've wanted a porsche 944. I think they are sweet looking cars. If I didn't have to commute back and forth to school upstate then I would sell my b6 and get a decent 944 and use my left over cash to fix it up. I love that turbo emblem and I think it would look great on my car. Thanks for the pics!

So you want a Porsche turbo badge because you want a Porsche, but because of your commute you have a B6, BUT to compensate you want a Porsche badge so you feel like you are driving a Porsche?
I do not follow.

I think you guys are looking to far into this...If something looks cool to me, Ill use it. I don't care if it was from a ford or dodge and I put it on. I'm just saying I always wanted a 944 and I love that turbo emblem on those cars. I think it would look nice. If I don't like it, Ill put it on my 944 down the road. No big deal to me.

I think it looks good, the last car pulls it off well. Still don't think I'd do it as it brings more attention than I'd want, plus I'd get tired of people asking about it. But if that doesn't bother you I say go for it.

It would be pretty funny if you got a parking ticket and the person didnt know what kind of car is was.

Its happened to me before LOL. I don't have Turbo on it, but there are no 4 rings on the exterior, so once a cop put Nissan on a street cleaner ticket. Thought it was hilarious. Must have thought it was an Altima?!
Now atleast the cops have smartened up enough to look through the tints at the steering wheel. lol

Dont worry, that is pretty much how other car owners feel when they put the 1.8t badge on their non Audi car that happens to have a 1.8L and an aftermarket turbo. lol
