Really diggin' this thread. Poll (not meant to thread jack) - I'm painting the roof black...but like these plasti-dipped lowers...however, my car came with a kit on it. Would unmatched lowers look weird if it's a kit?

Seeing a lot of silver and red, all looking hype with the UPL.
For some reason the black just doesn't look right to me.

IMO DG is the best suited for UPL, might throw Silver in there as a solid looking combo with the right supporting mods (UPL, darker, or paint-similar wheels) but everything else just seems a bit off. My .02

Price has gone up a bit in the past 3 years. A full set shipped should be right around $1000 off eBay or Discount Tire Direct. Tires can easily double that price.

I could agree with that. Although select sedans look awesome with them as well. I think I got lucky with my color combo. Atlas and UPL just works for some reason..
