Just make sure it is gloss black... Matt will look a bit odd with the gloss black touches on the car.

i think gunmetal would offer a nicer contrast if your grill is already blacked out. i painted mine gunmetal, thought about the black but thought it'd be too plain w/ the black and red

i guess i should point out that i'd be plasti dipping the wheels the same color as the plasti dip on the grill...unless plasti dip makes gunmetal.

Depends on how the OP sees as "doing it right"

I say plastidip, because if you don't like it, you can peel it off and save yourself the money of having it powder coated

I was just saying that plastidip is a great way to try a gunmetal color out without spending a good chunk of change powder coating and not entirely liking the outcome. At least op knows that if he doesn't like it, he's only out a few hours of his time and $30.

how is the holding up? If my matte black avant garde m310s are too dark I might hit them with duplicolor or maybe a coat of clear to brighten them up a bit.
