How to remove glovebox...?

I need to get at the relay modules behind the glovebox but I have no idea where to start... Is there a guide online anywhere?

I know that the glovebox door comes off with the removal of 2 circlips on the hinges and then removing the hinge pins. You also have to disconnect the piston which prevents the door from flopping open. From there I believe the removal should be relatively straight forward/obvious.

2 levers on both sides of the glove box and then it slides down to the floor to access anything behind it.

Thanks for the help. To access the relays/modules, do I need to remove the blower motor?

Are you doing the foglight relay mod? If so you don't need to remove anything, just drop the glovebox down.

I'm actually just installing the relay to enable the DRL foglights. I dropped the glovebox but I don't see anything beyond the monstrous blower motor and ducts.

You need to have small hands and reach pretty deep in to the dash

Damn... Nothing's ever easy on a German car. I'll have to tackle this tomorrow... Am I reaching straight forward?

It's up behind the dash more. If you remove the side panel you can kind of see see the relays.

Looks I jumped to the wrong conclusion. I'm not trying to get at this relay module in particular; rather, I'm trying to figure out where relays #209 and #214 are. Are those the right ones to activate the DRL foglights?
