2012 A7 passenger airbag intermittently shuts off while driving

I'm the proud owner of a 2012 A7 that I bought new and love - the car is amazing, fun to drive and quite a head turner.

However - when my family and I take a little spin around town and on local highways, the passenger side airbag turns off and on during the drive.

This am coming back from brunch it turned off and on 7 times. The chime is annoying and the safety issue to my precious cargo is concerning.

Since it's Sunday I can't just head straight to the service center but will once the work week is on.

Anyone else had or heard of this issue on the A7 ?

usually it's a bad connection in the passenger side seat belt sensor.
