Rather than hate I'm going to help. You like the badges on the fenders? Get "S-line" it's far more acceptable as rebadging goes. It doesn't over step your model and half the people on here with 2012s claim they have an S-line even though it's just a premium plus and therefor NOT an S-line. Supercharged badges are just a rebadge faux paux. Just like when you laugh at people with "Turbo" badges on cars that don't have turbos. Secondly you can get an S-line badge for the grill to replace the S4 badge and further cut down on the hating.

actually to add to the badges on the fenders, why not add "quattro" badges or 2.0T badges or one on each side, thats unique and never been done before and plus you got the badges so no need to spend extra money on them

I tried to abstain from this thread, but here goes... Love the grill. Not a fan of the badging. As far as your age, I've gotten a lot more conservative (read purist) as I've gotten older. We've all been there. About your folks getting you a very nice ride, count yourself fortunate. As long as you enjoy it and appreciate the fact that your parents thought you were responsible enough to handle such a thing, they haven't wasted their money. Most of the guys on here are good guys, they are quick to call BS when they smell it, though. There is a ton of great info and reviews on this forum. Enjoy your ride and keep us posted on future mods (maybe full debadge).

Never said the badges was going to make or break the sale.

I worked in a sporting good store for a year and a half until I quit to focus more on school this upcoming year. So that's why my parents felt I deserved a car, not that that matters.

I didn't debadge the trunk so people think I have an a4. I debadged it because I think it looks to cluttered in the back.

Obviously it's not an S4 my high school has 7 B8's in it. One kid has gone the extra step and bought the silver mirrors and stuck a s4 badge on the trunk with having a single exit exhaust

The s4 badge on the grille was staying until I found a viable replacement, and thanks to whoever posted that link but I ordered a black Quattro badge. (hopefully I won't get chewed out for not having a Quattro)

As for the SC badges, it was a gift in the sale as I'm sure you know many dealers do. He also threw in the all weather floor mats for a discounted rate.

And for everyone to relax, i already took off the SC badge, and i ordered 3M badging tape, to sell it to the kid in my school with the s4 badge. At the end of the day, everybody wins

Oh...and completely agree with others regarding the age thing. Who cares how some people spend their money? I personally know the owner of BYD (biggest car manufacturer in China currently), and his 18 year old kid has a F430 Scuderia, Panamera Turbo, SLS AMG, Murci LP670 and a couple other super cars, so seeing the OP being gifted an A4 from his parents is no big deal. Everyone leads a different life, and there's no need to hate on people who have more disposable income than yourself.

Your friend sounds like majority of the kids from mainland china that come here to study. Parents are overseas and not around. So to make up for it they buy them expensive cars and give them a ridiculous allowance. Those cars are so common here that owning any car below 100k is like driving a civic. :(
I'm sure you guys have read about the 13 exotic car cruise/race that happened here last year. All 13 impounded and some sold off in auctions. This was nothing for them because they had other cars at home that were just as nice. Majority of them under 20 years of age.

Some people are just lucky they have parents that make it big and give them everything. Just make sure o not take it for granted.

Actually, we all lose when there are idiots driving around with poser badging on their Audis. Sell them to a real S4 owner or do us all a favor and throw them away.
