Summer Shoes finally here.

Hey Everyone,

My wheels and tires finally arrived. I ordered Avant Garde M310's in Hyper Silver with Continental Extreme Contact tires. 19'' x 9.5''. I couldn't wait to get these so I put everything else aside to pick them up. Bad news for me...when they pulled the tires, apparently someone let something slip by them during the inspection when they arrived and one of the tires had an irreparable bend on the inside lip of the tire, causing the tire to not even be completely round or hold air So it looks like I'll be waiting for a few more days for them to overnight a tire here.

Anyways, any gtg's coming up once everyone gets their summer setup on? I need to get some pics of my car with the new setup, and my only camera is...wait for it...on my iPhone (And we all know how great those cameras are )

Here's a pic I snapped before leaving the shop disappointed on having to wait a few more days. It's like Christmas in July...or April..

Those are tight. Bummer about the tire, but I feel ya about waiting since my wheels have taken almost a month so far.

It'll be worth it in the end.

LOL they look too good. Think of it as a compliment to your style . I was actually going to get the VMR V710's but they were back ordered until May or June in the size and offset I wanted and being so impatient I found some of these at a killer deal that was too good to pass up. Not to mention since one of the tires was messed up and I had to wait again, they refunded a cost of one tire so I can wait a few more days I suppose since my bank account is a littttllle happier.

I might go a little lower, but there a few reasons why I'm hesitant. First is practicality of every day driving in Boulder. The roads suck and I would have trouble getting in and out of the garage at my complex. The second is rubbing issues. I probably could find a way around it but I went as aggressive as I could with the wheels just with how the car was sitting with the s-line suspension. The wheels sit flush with the fenders with I love (no spacers) and the wide stance of the wheels looks mean. I would kinda like to close that gap though...

Look really good! I was in the same situation as you, I didn't want to wait for vmr's. Let me know how your paint holds up, the paint on my wheels was poor quality with blemishes and has been falling off, im looking at powdercoating now. But definitely a good looking setof wheels, I have the same tires too lol :)

@mec - I'll keep an eye on it and see how the finish holds up. It looked pretty good when I got it, though I think the guys who put the wheels on nicked a few spots by the lugs. And so far I love the tires, hands down the best tires I've had on any car for a while.

I just did those same ones today on my c5 but I got the silver/gunmetal ones in 19s.. Yours looks great. Heres mine from today.

Those look really good. I thought about doing the silver/gunmetal ones but thought the hyper silver would pop a little more on my monsoon gray. I like the look of those on the red though.
