GOAL: 100 more hp (~250) by the end of Summer.

Alright, so engine-wise I am stock for the most part, cept for a few minor engine mods (K03Sport, Forge Splitter Valve, and Airbox mod).
If I read correctly, stock HP is about 150 horses.

APR stage 1 brings it to about just over 200hp.

I don't believe I'm ready for a BT set up (Frankenturbo). My mods planned for the summer are TP, Catback Exhaust, FMIC, and the ECU tune.

With those mods in mind, will I get close to 250hp? Any advice or suggestions? I decided on 100 more hp as a Goal so that it feels like I'm working towards something.

i was considering the K04 in the mix, but what would be the supporting mods. injectors and the tune right?

do i have to wait for all the parts to be in place and installed before getting the ecu tuned?

You can run the K04 on the k03's tune for the time being with no added benefit.

from what i have read, going frankenturbo would require for sure the fmic, and 414cc injectors? i searched what tune would go along with it, but it came out unclear what the general concesus was.

run a Frankenturbo with Uni II+ or Revo III tune. Depends on year / tune / its recommendation. You can run the stock SMIC for the time being until you find a used one for a decent price.

I run the Frankenturbo kit with full exhaust and a forge DV with 440cc green giant injectors tuned by Motoza. I would guess I am near 220whp.

that motoza tune seems to be the most affordable tune to run a frankenturbo kit.

so is the frankenturbo a hybrid k04 then?

unitronic says that a new frp is required. how necessary is that?

Motoza is running great on my car, and Dave is an excellent guy to deal with. And you really cant beat the price. With the Motoza program you can log and read codes. And yes the FT is a hybrid K04. I am still running a stock FPR and plan to leave it that way. The FT kit also is a good deal price wise, you get the turbo, mani and inlet.
