I'm thinking of getting an Allroad

Main reasons are I want an avant, I want something with an actual usable back seat, and I want the 2.7t motor. Not a fan of the exterior trim though. Probably just color match it. Don't plan on doing any offroading whatsoever so I'll probably lower the suspension anyway. Just want a comfortable, somewhat reliable daily driver that can hold large adults. I thought about a b6/b7 avant but from what I understand they don't offer any addtional legroom over the sedan. Any thoughts?

have you looked at an S6? If you color match the outside they look very good just make sure a reputable shop does the painting so the paint doesn't chip off the front fender flares.

Sounds like the Allroad will fit what you want. Correct on the B6/B7 back seat. It's small (same as the sedan). Usable, but not the most comfortable if you drive around with adults in the back often. S6's are awesome but the automatic is a downer - unless you planned on doing a swap. So with that in mind I'd say a 6MT Allroad would be ideal

Oh I completely forgot about the S6 avant. Thing is I want something a bit more fuel friendly. My S4 already provides my V8 fix. Not sure I want another V8. I don't want a manual either. Not a fan of the tiptronic slushbox but this had to be car everyone else can drive.

I really want one too. But am waiting for the perfect one.
