    sirius with no sound

    I just installed the factory sirius unit and everything works, however im getting no sound.
    I searched around and have not been able to come up with anything. Any help would be appreciated !!
    Its a 2007 a3 sline

    if you search the forms there is actually and article about installing xm, probably the same issue. in the passenger side kickpannel there is a connection that needs to be made.

    Kick panel is connected. I did notice that the sirius brain has 2 antenna inputs one brown one green. But the car only has one. Ive read that some people just plug into the green port. Then I read that you have to get the car on a vag com so it recognizes the satellite unit. It seemed like such a easy hook up. But now im very confused.

    Do you have an ipod adapter? Do you have Concert II?

    I do have A ipod adapter in the glove box. And the head unit just says "concert" .
    Sorry for being such a noob.

    I got it. It was the ipod adapter.

    you can retain both- but would have to get a satellite by-pass cable ..and have a pro install or you can do it yourself if familiar with wiring/routing, etc...
