    anyone heard of CerTek or Galaxy brake pads?...they're both ceramic

    i was wondering if anyone has any feedback on these brands, it would be greatly appreciated

    hey guys, soon i'll need to replace my front brake pads and have done a lot of searching about the ceramic pads. i'm a little confused about keeping the semi-metalic or getting something new. BUT some reviews stats that those ceramics are bad for the rotors and some said that there is not good grip when they are still cold . i'm a family guys so there is no racing, just going to work and back to home with some trips whenever free. my driving is 50/50 city-highway. the positive points that i got about the ceramics was they last longer, good grip, no squeaking and stylish , so i hope that i got replies from real owners who tried them to know pros and cons. thanks.
