I spent about $20 on cheap studs and some screws. Holds 3 sets of 5 wheels 10" wide if necessary. Yours is obviously cleaner looking lol, but hey.

I'm kinda a wheel whore... It looks like more then it is since my 18" GT3's are dismounted cause they where trashed after getting them back from the impound(They where stolen but recovered). I got the tires replaced for $75 that are under them. I also sold the Rota's that are in the corner and now I picked up a set of 19" GT3's in Audi bolt pattern last month.

as requested. 17" sports hang here during the summer and 18" Moven SP-10's (Sportec Reps) hang here during the winter for the past 2.5 years.

Very nice. You can see the peeps with unfinished garages with 2x4 wheel holders and ahh then theres yours....building my 2x 4 one this weekend.

yeah its kind of crazy, my garage is nicer than my basement (which is on the other side of the wall that the wheels are hanging on).. i believe it is fire code.. the drywall is a fire retardant.. so the builder drywalls the wall that divides the basement and garage.. they also drywall the ceiling and put on the texture.. the basement is unfinished.. my house was built in 94 - i just moved in 2.5 years ago.. but the wheel hangers are 1 of the 1st things i did.. i dont have much room in the garage, so EVERYTHING gets hung on the wall or from the ceiling..

those FastTrack brackets are ~10" long, rubber coated, and rated for 50 lbs. 50 lbs is a little close, but there is always a factor of safety on commercial products..

i would look at the weight limits on them and inspect regularly. i use the same hangers to hang my work shovels& rakes and busted 2 so far in 8 years.

thanks for the heads up. no issues in 2.5 years, but it would be a great idea to inspect them. they are hanging right above the unicorn!

I do it the NH way. That is to stack them up behind the fence in drum liner bags.

Has the traditional Cobra R wheels on it. Ponys are still around for track purposes.

I LOL'd when I saw this, its so true. Us with our unfinished garages toss 2x4's together for a wheel rack. I guess if my garage was all perfect i'd go OP's route as well lol.
