looks fine but if you are going with HPFP, you might want to throw tune in there for stg2+

you ask for comments, but then tell people to not comment on the abundant waste of money the intake is??
OP, lets have a seat and talk about this for a second and hopefully I can steer you away from the 350$ you were planning on spending.
1) the intake is stupid, and by buying it, you will only be making yourself in turn, stupid
2) that nice look that it has? yea....go ahead and talk to some owners of that intake and ask how dope and 'with it' that intake looks after 6 months when the carbon fiber yellows
3)......did i forget to mention that the sick looking intake is covered up 99% of the time by your hood?
4)i also completely missed the point over that you can get a pipe and cone and it looks just as good bc it's modified
5) with that 350$, you could just paypal me (skrzypczakscj@gmail.com get at me dawg) or you can pony up and get a FMIC, which........wait for it........continue to wait........looks good ANNNNNNNND adds performance value
also, where are you getting an RS4 grille for 200? i hope not ebay, i thought phil made himself pretty clear when he made mention of the shitty fitment, and poor quality?
headlights? you going DEPO brah?.....actually i sort of enjoy those headlights so carry on good sir!
after re-reading my post it certainly comes off more dickish then i would like, OP don't take my comments with salt, take them as a somewhat seasoned member, who watched people get excited over the same thing you did and ultimately left disapointed.....there are reasons why we promote things (RS4, HPFP, ETC) and there are reasons why we tell people not to do things....

I specifically asked "Hows this look for the order to do things?" I didnt ask for your sarcastic @ss comments, seasoned member eh? pretty sure ive been here a lot longer...
edit: And if you look the intake is the last of the "performance" parts before i start doing asthetic mods only, and thats because i under stand the intake is more for looks then anything else. I dont really care if you think it looks good or not either, its my damn car. All i wanted to know if the order i was doing things made sense

thats an expensive intake
rs4 pedals are a waste of money imo
ditch spring/struts for $700 and just get a set of coilovers with the money you will save from buying the intake

I dont really care about being able to adjust my ride height, would i gain much otherwise?
I like the way the RS4 pedals look, a lot nicer then the stock pedals, and thats why im doing them last anyways

i was all about the spring > coils route too when I was first looking at options. I never thought i would adjust my coilovers. but Ive adjusted mine about 4 times in the past 8 months.
i also want to look at some different wheels soon, and I am glad that I have the option to adjust ride height to make whatever wheels I pick look perfect
and your RS4 pedals are only going to get stomped on every day. I can guarantee you no one is going to see them. who the fuck looks at someones pedals unless you are at a show.
youre the one that said "so many mods, so little money". just giving you my opinion so you can save some of your money

I was on springs on my last cars so i really dont care about the need to adjust, so again i ask other than that is there any benefit?
The pedals again as i said i am doing last after all the other mods and i like the way they look so thats all there is to it.

you completely missed the point i was trying to drill into your dome
the intake is a gigantic.....i mean.....enormous waste of money that I, being the nice person I am trying desperately to steer you into a different direction....but clearly the glitz and glamor of a carbon fiber weave is much too appealing for logic and reason.
like i said, there always option 2, just pay pal me 350$....i will take the monies, and flush it down the toilet so you don't have to (cuz im nice like that)
from what i gather you had a b6, congrats, seemed like a nice ride, anyways it does not look like i am going to get through to you so i'll let you make your 350$ mistake on your own and wait for the thread titled "help, i spent 350$ on something for looks, and not it does not look so nice!"

You are missing the point, im not lookin for your opinion on if the intake is worth it or not, i said that in the first damn post so just drop it.

In my opinion do the first 6 listed mods skip the intake do the exhaust and headlights and skip the rest. I've went your route and wasted my money. I've fixed my mistakes and gained money back. People are just trying to help you from wasting money on stuff that does not work and is going to look like crap in a short amount of time

You have headlights listed... what kind of headlights are you looking at getting?
-
Do them in what ever order you feel like there is no "special recipe", none of your mods are too serious.. Most are for looks anyway..
But honestly, 800 on RS4 pieces in a A4... Fail
350 on a carbon basically "stock" intake ... Fail
Thats almost 1200, you could play with for better wheels and a Fully adj. suspension (height and dampening)
But hey, man its your world i'm just living in it.

I'm not sure how many miles are on you car or what kind of mechanical condition its in ( I'm not saying its in bad condition) but I'm always one for have everything for mechanical stability done first. Timing components filters fluid changes. Taking care of that what may be an1 drip leak that will eventually turn into a bigger issue. How are you control arms and bushings seals and other things that are wearable items. If you are increasing power what are your plans on how to stop it. These are the things I would think about first...good luck and happy modding

if you don't care about the inevitable yellowing of the carbon fiber, i will sell you my "pre yellowed" one. it was on the car when i bought it and i don't much care for the thing. it's yours for 200 bucks, that is a savings of 141 doll hairs.

I guess I can't tell you how dumb rs4 pedals are, or what a waste the intake will probably be.
How the headlights will prob look ricey, and how you could spend your money elsewhere on parts that might actually give you a car that can back up your attitude....
So I guess I really can't comment in this thread cause I'm not good with lists

Probably provide some input... But I don't want to hurt mr shicks fragile feelings by giving him feedback he clearly didn't ask
For! I'm sure he could research... Though their is probably more information about carbonio intakes, and how to waste money on your A4... Than pooping
