My $1000 Daily Driver - pic heavy.

Hey guys, I just picked up a '00 A6 2.7T Tiptronic for a grand. I haven't seen any quite like this one, and I think I got a pretty good deal.

It has:
125k miles
Audi Symphony (I) Bose system (No CD changer)
Cold weather package
HID Xenon headlights
Pretty large front brakes (not sure if that was an option or not)
Maroon leather interior

Car drives very well, apart from an oil leak that I have to fix. It needs some front end work (fender and bumper), but it's nothing major.

It's a daily driver, so the only mods I have planned are:

Gut precats (piggies)
H&R springs
18" RS4 replica wheels
Magnaflow tips with deleted mufflers
710N diverter valves
GIAC tune

^I knew it was an option, just not in that color. That two tone interior is RARE! Not my personal cup of tea but I do appreciat the rare factor. Its not bad tho. Car is in great shape, especially for a grand!!

Super nice find! FWIW you also have the sport package. The seats and wheels make it so, along with a couple other things. Congrats on the $1000 pick up! I personally love the red/maroon interior...

How does a 2000 have the hole in the back seat for ski's and such but not my 01! I think I'm the only one with a solid backsteat that doesn't have it wtf

Wow! I had the two tone interior as well, but with tan leather. It looks really good, at first I had to check your location to make sure this wasn't across the pond. Way to go for 1k!

Nice Find - Good Luck with It! Let me know if you want to do a complete interior swap trade with me for this black interior from an A6 2.7T sedan. I drive down to Jersey City via GW Bridge every week. I can do seat installs in an hour - door panels a little more time.

How the hell did you grab it for a grand? Were there any issues with it other than what you mentioned? Never knew of maroon interiors. Would like sick if the seat bases to the floors were two toned in black.
