Ok, so who is the photographer, and if not the same, the Photoshop pro, in the family? I love the effect on the three-avants-getting-baths pic.

The 'wash yard' pic was technically take by mom/wife and me on the PS...as she commented about our 'sickness'.. ...I guess i'll claim the 'pro' status as I do point & click on for a living..but TeleTay does all his own PS'ing to!

I don't blame him! :-) My wife and 6 y/o son both ski. But I can only snowboard because my knees simply won't take skiing (I've tried). So why would I support a resort where I couldn't ride w/ my family. I did love Park City and Canyons though.

I think it needs spacers and be raised a little bit. S4's aren't meant to tuck tire but rather sit right above it. That's my opinion.

Cool. I just wanted to get an idea. on my M3, I've measured all around and the lowest part of my car (front lower control arm) is 4" off the ground as are my side skirts and front lip. My Avant is most certainly in 4x4 mode, but I have to keep telling myself not to spend too much money on it since it was just supposed to be the "extra" car and serve foul weather and snow duty...

What kind of entry do you have into your driveway? Maybe you need some of these:
    http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/curb+bridge.do

Actually in all seriousness, I REALLY kick myself because I didn't think about having them pour the slab of my garage floor lower and therefore increase the height of my garage and decrease the slope of my driveway. That would have been epic. I mean, it's not a huge slope, but flatter is better and oh what I wouldn't give for more height in the garage...

Our problem is really a raised/tilted slab due to a crack from a root of the huge ancient tree in the yard. The curb dip really isn't that deep, just this one raised edge. Might just have to sacrifice a bit of the neighbors lawn until he (possibly) cranks up the coils just a bit.

Thanks. that's where I "started" back in 2007. However, I've since replaced the black 328i vert w/ my '98 M3 vert and I've added my Avant to the stable.

Jeep for rock crawling, towing the little Chalet camping trailer, and other misc towing duty.
Sportbike for twisties and track days.
M3 Cabrio = best of all worlds in a top down fun package
Audi = cargo & passenger capacity and "sno-wagon" for hitting up the slopes every weekend.

Oh, and the wife has an '09 Accord (barely seen below). *yawn*. it's boring and practical and is banished to the driveway (Jeep/bike/m3/Audi all go in the garage). We call her gold accord sedan the "Invisible Car" because when you go into a parking lot, there's like a zillion of them out there and it literally disappears.

But the M3 is my baby, complete with a removeable hardtop for winter time.

basically nothing but good things for a "budget" coilover

    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ance-coilovers

but there are definitely better coilovers out there but i wasnt really looking to drop 3k on a set of racing full adjustable coilovers

i just wanted to be low and the STs will go low!

And then the avants thread just to show some pics of my car (cars) to people that actually love avants
