ABS and ESP light and Parking brake beep - anyone get that? VAG says brake pressure
sensor.
All is quiet until car hits a bump or corners mildly. Feels like a loose connection somewhere but nothing obvious.
One thing I noticed is occasionally before it beeps, I feel a little jerk on the accelerator pedal which I thought is odd since I expect that only to be a sensor without feedback.
Also, brake pedal on light braking sometimes has a tiny little drop (maybe ~ 1/8") before it gets hard and normal again. Not very repeatable
My plans are to replace all the fluid, check all the connections and brake and accelerator sensors.
ABS module?
car is 2005 3.2Q

yeah I'm afraid it is. I've had my bro's 2.8 fixed by module masters before. Hope they can do our cars too. I think it's roughly $400 to repair this one. Oh well. How's your A6 holding up?

update - center brake light was shorted out. 5 of the LED's hooked up in series are burned...
Instead of buying a new unit, I took it apart and saw equivalent LED's from superbright for $0.25 each. We'll see if that contributes to the problem.
Also removed the ABS connector and cleaned with contact cleaner. Yesterday, the ABS ESP light beep did not come on. Only the rear brake light warning since I disconnected the 3rd brake light.
Crossing fingers.
Next would be to inspect, clean connectors on brake and accelerator pedal sensors.

I had the exact same issue.
ABS module replaced eventually.
Now I get that jerk response on accelerate pedal when auto door lock activate when cars in motion.

I get the accelerator jerk response right now too. Maybe it's not related to the ABS module issue.
In any case I've done bleeding the brakes, cleaning and reseating the wiring connectors to the ABS and brake switch. It doesn't come on as often but it is there. So I think the bleeding the brakes made it better since the pedal went up higher and maybe the brake pressure switch signal is aligned with the brake light switch. In any case, I will remove the module next to get reworked or replaced.

Just an update and closure..
When it finally stopped raining in our area, I took off the ABS module and sent out to modulemasters.

They turned it around in a few days. Weeks later, problem has not returned. Mileage actually went up a bit. Could be unrelated but for 3 tanks in a row, seems like it's up a bit - maybe because I reset all the modules in the car.
Anyway, it turned out to be the ABS module. So next time you feel a jerk in the brake pedal, jerk in the accelerator, ESP light come on, parking brake not working, ABS light and all the beeps, go straight to the module and have it fixed.

Thanks for posting the resolution.

I just had my parking brake malfunction, abs, and traction control light come on right after I pulled out of Les Schwab from getting a tire rotation. Could anything they have done cause this? I've never had any of these lights on before I got there and I pull out of the parking lot and now 30 seconds after I drive the car every time all of these come back on.

They did something to mess it up though I can't really figure out what that would have been on a simple tire rotation.

I can't either. Not sure how to work this out with them but it is obviously an issue brought on by something they did. I guess will have to see how the manager tries to handle things tomorrow.

That's your best bet. Keep your cool and be respectful. You will have a better chance at a resolution.

Turns out when they let the wheels spin while up on a lift it throws out a code. Driving it 50 miles or so and it resets or recalibrates and all is good.

Interesting. I would not have expected that. At least it is all good now. Thanks for updating!
