    Video sound clip or AWE exhaust 2010 A5 2.0T

    Here's the sound clip of AWE exhaust on 2010 A5 2.0T AT without the downpipe. I am very happy with the looks and sound.

    What was used to record sound? The recording most likely doesn't do it justice because it sounds very tame, and while the car is driving around, it's pretty much drowned out by tire rolling noise. I'm trying to record my own custom exhaust, but I'm having this kind of a problem, all microphones in my phone/camera/gopro hd are really poor for this purpose.

    In the video, it has a bit of a "chainsaw" sound. Does it sound like that in real life?

    Also, do you get any drone at highway speeds?

    I want to get a vid of my custom exhaust but from previous experience the sound never comes out right.

    ^^ yes, would like to know how does it pull now? do you have the stage 1 or stage 2? Can you run stage 2 without installing HFC or upgrade downpipe?

    I can't tell cuz I never had this exhaust when it was on stock ecu

    The iPhone speaker isn't the best for capturing video. Once you pick up the GoPro it should sound a bit more like this-
