Well, it looks like our GTG turned into a cruise to College Park for a Charity Meet. As of right now the details are in the process of being worked out but once everything becomes available, it will be posted below.

I (Tom) will be part of the MD contingent - probably bringing my son w/ me.

I will look for a meeting spot for the MD group. We probably need to be rolling into Bowie by 1130ish so we should probably depart our MD meet location by 11AM. Were you planning on having the VA and DC groups link up the MD group and then we all cruise in together? Or, should we just meet at Bowie Baysox as we will have reserved parking?

Will most of you guys becoming down on the east side of 495? By east side, I mean going towards the WW bridge.

From 495 by Tyson's, we can either do the scenic route and take a trip around the loop by crossing the Legion Bridge or do a direct by passing through the mixing bowl and crossing the WW.

If we take the scenic route, we can probably meet up with most of the MD guys and travel down the eastern back of 495.

(if memory serves me correct, the Stadium is before FedEx coming from VA)

Baysox Stadium is east of FedEx... from 495 N you would go up to RT50E for about 7 min to MD 197E to MD301N. However you could get to the stadium from MD202 or MD 214 as well which are the 2 exits prior to RT50. That area of PG is the Hood where I grew up. I now live south east of there and could met up where ever. MD ppl what area are you coming from so we can plan a spot.

What about the National Harbor for the MD group. This would be an easy spot to meet up with the VA group. We could then proceed to Bowie from there via some back road action or give 3rd n 4th gears a work out on 495 and rt 50.... LOL

I'm still working on a meet location for the MD crew. I know people are coming from all over so I'm leaning towards something off of I495 aka the DC Beltway as that would pretty centrally located. How does Fedex Field sound?

We also need to secure some EZ-up tents... Does anyone have some they are willing to bring along?

Looking at a map, FedEx Field would definitely be a good meet up point for all groups, then we all head into Baysock Stadium together.

That might be the easiest way. My only concern is to figure out which of the 15+ lots they have will be open for us to meet. Does anyone live close to Fedex and can stop by to advance the location? If not, I will stop by and scope out parking lot situation before the meet. If Fedex is not available, plan B is to meet in the shopping plaza across the street (I know that is open as I planned to use this location last year for the pre-meet).

Looks like this is starting to take shape nicely!

Tom, we can all meet up these merging close to the 495/50 intersection and all ride in.

As for the VA guys, I'm waiting on input if they want to do the Beltway 500 (round the loop to 50 via American Legion Bridge at Tyson's) or take a direct route (thru the mixing bowl across WW to Harbor and 50).

I'll x-post this to the EA forums (if it's still in use).
