What's Your Other (Favorite) Ride?
Besides your A4, what do you find yourself driving (or riding) and what do you like better and worse about it?
For me, its my 08 Saab Aero Wagon. It has a tuned V6 Turbo (400+ lb-ft) and 6MT tranny.
Pluses: Cargo space, power, uniqueness, manual tranny (at times)
Minuses: Worse fuel economy, driving in rush hour, overall interior
2011 A4 FrontTrak P+, Teak Brown
B&O, Wood Inlays
OEM style trunk spoiler, Grille Strips, A4L Grilles, 35% Tint, LED Tag lights & Interior Kit, VAG Mods
APR Stage 1 no more

My motorcycle. Gives me all the joys the 4 ringer can never do. Lane splitting, the only thing California got right.

Everything about the TT is more immediate and direct, from the steering to the responsiveness. But that sword cuts both ways, as sometimes I like the better isolation (especially from road noise) in the B8 Avant.

Better than the A4 : speed, enjoyment, mpg, enjoyment, access into London, enjoyment, lack of passengers
Worse than the A4 : a fair bit easier to transport wife, kids and luggage, works better in the snow, pampering
;)

My other (long term) project, 1966 Lincoln continental sedan...

Pros-rare, suicide doors, bagged, head turned every I go, or don't- sitting in my garage people slow down to take a look at it..
Cons-haven't driven it in a good while because I'm finishing up the air suspension, hell on gas, hell on vehicle registration....
Current - 2010 audi a4 avant, 2006 audi a3, 1966 lincoln continental

Well since you're in the UK, I'm sure you'll appreciate this more than most:
unfortunately that's the best picture I have of it. 1700 miles in 6 weeks of ownership, more than doubling the miles on it from when I bought it.

I have really come to love my wife's 2011 Toyota Highlander Limited. It's comfortable, roomy, and has TONS of cargo space. The V6 has enough power, and it averages 21mpg. We had a baby back in December, and now that's all I drive when we go somewhere as a family--as we've simply outgrown my A4. As much as I like the Highlander, there is nothing like spending 45 wonderful minutes in the A4 during my morning commute...at least until I get my new ride this summer :-)

Very nice and my favourite colours. In the UK I'm pretty sure that gold/black colour scheme was a special edition. I had a sit on one at Donnington Park. A great fun bike but since I commute it was just too arse up in the air for me.
At some point I'll get something lighter for more fun and track days....but I do love the grunt of my 1100 :)

mine's a 2011, the 2010 was black/gold for SE, and black/gold was a standard option in 2011. I've done quite a bit of work to it, and just a few more pieces and I will be completely satisfied: flushmounts and ducati mirrors. I commute ~50 miles a day, every day, on this in city traffic in full leathers . I only drive the a4 if I need to go grocery shopping. take different things to work, or bad weather(which is rare here).

I'd have to say either my uncle's 360 modena or my father's A7. Both are great cars and better than each other in different ways.

The A7 parked next to my A4 (i know my car needed a clean that day)

Lot of folks that don't own B8's here. Interesting! Always good when you get other folks in on our topics.
When I'm not riding the Avant, if it's warm enough, I like to take my top off...and roll the E30.

When the snow gets deep, and I need a little 4X4 action, it's time for the T-reg.
