Sorry, no info on the MTM tune.
I suggest sticking with JHM for the 4.2 tune, anyway. They are known for their work on tuning the 4.2, among other things.

I'd say $300.
I can't find any specs on it, but IIRC it added 20hp and 15tq. (Or, it may have been 15hp and 12tq). Pretty much what all the 4.2 chips are claiming.

Here is your guy for MTM.
http://hoppenmotorsport.com/
He mostly deals with RS6 guys for their TIP chips, but I believe you can also get an MTM ecu tune from him and he may be the one that flashed it or could at least get you a price. He is also difficult to get a hold of from what I understand, so just keep calling! Hope that helps!

I spoke to Kim Collins yesterday in the UK at QST tuning, they work with MTM & he told me "you can't get any power from the 4.2 V8 with a remap" The reason I asked was because I was thinking about having it done to gain a few extra BHP. He said that there are lots of people claiming to give a power increase but it all Bullsh*t, would be interesting to hear from somebody who has had it done or had it removed to see if there is a difference to the drive.

I would love to give a before and after review, but the ecu that i will be putting in has a european file so it would work with the 6speed conversion. The chip is an mtm chip, weird since i havnt been able to find any info on it.

take your cats out and then get a tune, there will be a noticeable difference.

I will most likely be putting the ecu with the tune on sale sometime this week.

Well I've just bought an RS6+ exhaust & already have an ITG filter fitted so logicly thought a remap would be the next step.

Well, found out that this eliminates the rev limiter and also the shop who put it in says they have seen gains of 8 to 12hp with this tune.
