C5ers, what do we do for a living?

My name is Ben and I am 25.
I work as a Production Manager/Machinist for a performance brake manufacturer called Girodisc. We specialize in two piece rotors for Luxury Exotics, Subarus, Mitsubishis and many other makes.

I recently bought this allroad from another forum member so you may recognize it. I'm absolutely in love with it, and I can't wait to dive into designing and building a custom set of two piece rotors for it.

All I have right now are some crappy phone pictures.

I am an engineer on a 110' crab boat and part time student.
I'm about to head back up to AK and when I get back I plan on doing a 6-speed swap and get rid of the TIP. I can feel the time bomb ticking in my reverse gear.

Thanks! Just picked up an entire rear carrier/axle/trailing arm setup to swap out (thank you S6-fold-down-rear-seats). Nothing sexy, just newer parts....hopefully she'll stop clunking and groaning after I'm done. Then its on to the interior....my wife is a little heated about how much space is taken up by the the new carpet kit and dashboard in the basement. Hopefully then she'll stop clunking and groaning too.

I used to work at SDSU in the Web Portal Group of Enrollment services.
Talk about a thankless job! But the rewards on Daisy Dukes and cleavage was amazing!
Oh and not to mention no pay raises or cost of living increases for FIVE years?!?!
Oh and is there room for advancement? Only when someone dies or retires.

I'm a 25 year old Ben that is a full time Auto Technician at a local independent shop. I also am attending full time Accounting classes at a local university, of which, I only have two terms left! WOOT! I currently DD an 03' A6 4.2 that needs lots of love (a mild project car).

My REAL project though is this my HIC/AAN Powered 4kq...

and my beater is a 1990 Nissan Pathfinder that I built up a few years ago...
