Question Replacement LH (drivers) Side Mirror - eBay

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
For those with experience, I am thinking of grabbing this mirror from eBay. The drivers side mirror is now leaking it's fluid out of the side housing (which has a small crack in it) leaving some nice brown droplets of ooze on my door and window.

I need to replace the glass only, it is heated too. Any advice, warnings for me?

^This is probably what I should be looking for. The other one did not mention auto dimming at all. Thx.

Here are some pics of the damage... the auto-dim fluids in the mirror made it feel like I ate some magic shrooms.

That is common problem with dimming unit, Audi corrected some issue and on newer cars they have eliminated the rubber seal that is fitted around the mirror that hold the glass to mirror body which is the cause, the water tends to sit in the seal and the membrane that holds the liquid gets too soft and eventually brakes the seal and the liquid leaks out, it only effects the lower part of the mirror which is recommended to clean off snow during winter and dry out as much water as you can from the lower part of the seal

The first link you have provided is regular mirror without dimming function,
The link I have provided it is correct unit if you want to have dimming function
