I will be taking mine off and going back to stock front sway since i will be doing a lot of city driving 21-23 mpg comparing to 9-13mpg in my durango, and and no time for track or auto-x, i was wondering if anyone would be interested, couple time auto-x'ing most of the time on highways, has some scratches from speedbumps but in perfect working condition, no accidents either, will take pix next week when i will take it off. its a 35mm one.

I'm still learning how all these components affect the ride quality - I also will be using my A6 as a daily driver. That said, Why are you choosing to take off the front sway to improve your daily ride? What "Feel" is changed to make the stock better for a daily use?
In general, I know these thicker bars stiffen up the ride, so is it that it's too stiff and you are wanting to go more "cushion-y"?
The sway bars only affect handling under cornering, daily ride quality is unchanged unless you also change out your springs/shocks. The one exception to that is if you use the Subaru STI rear sway endlinks instead of the OEM Audi links on the front bar. The Subaru links have no rubber so they transmit cornering much more directly improving response, however the lack of rubber bushings also means that all vibrations in the sway is transmitted into the suspension and steering rack.
2000 A6 4.2L: Koni Yellow Sport Dampers, Eibach ProKit Springs, H-Sport sway bars, DICE iPod unit, brushed aluminum gauge rings.... and a proven ability to consume (lots of) fuel
I'm running them and am very picky about ride quality; they did not affect ride, but they made the cornering a lot more responsive. Car has a tendency to understeer a bit, even with the rear bar on the stiffer of the two settings, but I suppose that's better for the average driver than rotating.
H-Sports on hard here. I did not notice any deterioration in ride quality only an immediate difference in cornering. The H-Sports took the allroad from Buick handling to Audi handling.
But I am sure someone will love them.
BTW if you are just removing the front and leaving the rear you will have some really bad handling.
Weird. Are they off yet? How about you install oem ones and see how horribly car drives without them before you sell the bars. I can't imagine going back. Wallowing cars is not my cup of tea.
I know how it will be i had my 6 for quite some time now with any susp setup avaliable exept air bags, plus i will still have race h&r coilovers which perform very well even with stock sway bars, i like my car tO have more stiffness in the rear for more oversteer too, not sure why are you so negative about the ride quality, mine drives quite well;)
