I don't know if you guys know much about the product but Ive done some good research and it seems pretty amazing. My tan leather is not as clean as I'd prefer and I really want to give this stuff a shot. Its about 60 bucks and it seems to be worth it. Question is do we have real leather? The leather in my car looks and feels real ( I can usually spot the difference) but I want to make sure before I buy the kit. It will only work right on true leather..
+1 to the detailing forum, but.... It gets no better than Leatherique. Two caveats: it's not the easiest stuff to work with, and for optimum results you'll want to have plenty of time and a nice, warm day. Lots of youtube vids on how to use the stuff, but really the how-tos at many of the detailing sites (detailers domain, detailed image, autogeek, yada) are sufficient.
IMO/IME, second best...and it is a distant second...would be Zaino, followed by Poorboy's. They're both much cheaper, much easier to use, and in less than 20 minutes you're done. Also, for stubborn stains, especially noticeable on light leather, you can also try a 10:1 dilution of Woollite and a gentle (i.e. horse hair) brush for cleaning. Good luck...

Agree, I swear by it. With any leather oil product oil however, as mentioned it works better with heat. Some people actually put their cars under the sun (with the windows closed of course) to increase the effectivity.
I run stretched tires, sorry for being all show and no go.
I bought the kit from someplace with a 20% off code...... do a bit of searching. I think I got the cleaner, the reconditioning fluid and pads and towels in a kit for like $45 or something.
It works great, lather the stuff in with your hands via a spray bottle--let sit in hot sun for a full day with the windows up.....I did two treat ments over 2 days---then cleaned it all off. The stuff works fantastic. It brought back my leather in my Dodge Diesel back from the dead--it was literally cracked cardboard and now its actual leather again.
I think the rest of the products are fine as well, but the instructions say they use this on the leather of Rolls Royce's and Bentley's in the world's automotive museums--blah blah blah right...........it worked great and its well worth it given the amount they give you.
2.0T only has leather on the surfaces. Vinyl on the side which is very prone to cracking in freezing temps. Only the ones with the V6 has full leather seats.

It's true. At least for the 08 MY.
I took my stock A4 2.0T seats apart to remove the passenger side airbag sensor. The center panels on the seat bottom and seat back are leather. Bolsters and everything else are leatherette.
I was shocked too.
From the Audi Equipment listing:
Leather seating surfaces (standard on Canadian A4 2.0T quattro sedan/Avant quattro versions)
- Optional on 2.0T
- Standard on 3.2L
Genuine Volterra full-leather seat upholstery; door inserts, front/rear center armrest, shift knob and steering wheel in matching leather

I think in the US we all get the Volterra leather, but I may be wrong.
Regardless, I actually liked the leatherette in my buddys old Mk6 GTI much better than my my b6 or b7.

All 2.0T will only have the surfaces your butt/back touch and headrests that are real leather.
My car has PR# of N1F (Leather "G" Grain Pattern/Leatherette "B" Grain Pattern)
And Leatherique is great. Only thing I use on the RS 6 Nappa Leather and now in the A4. The Rejuvenator Oil I would only use on the Leather parts of the A4 seats. It is only needed ~ once a year. The Pristine Clean can be used everywhere on the seats, steering wheel, shift knob, e-brake handle, ect. I use the stuff in the house on my leather chair and ottoman as well!
A little tidbit; Pristine Clean is a 4:1 Distilled Water/Rejuvenator Oil mix :)
