What do you mean by highest power gains? The numbers seem lower than the competing companies.

Unitronic's power #'s for B8 A4 St. 2 is 287hp and 341 tq, that is achieved with stock intake, no exhaust, just 3" DP. They use a Mustang engine dyno for most accurate measurements. For example, APR's #'s are 242 hp. and 362 tq. on chassis dyno with loss of drive train correction factored. GIAC has gains of 34 hp and 34 tq.

The stage 2 tune is very similar, we advertise UNITRONIC STAGE 2 : 280HP / 310LB-TQ for B8 A4. However, last Dyno we did with the 2.0T TSI was 287HP 341TQ stock intake ! The A4 B8 is more / less very similar in numbers ! (Performed on a DTS dyno)

Aren't the engines completely different, though? Do you have the at wheels numbers for the b8 2.0T? Always good to have some strong options out there for sure!

Yes sir, The Audi has more TQ from Factory then the MK6 TSI but the stage 2 gain is more/less similar, the number are Crank HP on the DTS engine dyno. it can't be more precise then that.

Wow those numbers r amazing. I was originally only considering apr for when I get a tune in the future but all that horsepower is awesome. Everyone seems to love torque but I definitely think out cars are more in need of hp than tq

240 hp and 285 tq for stage 1? So i guess if you are going stage 1, APR is the way to go (same amount of hp, but alot more tq), but stage 2 it seems Unitronic is a good choice.

Unitronic stage one is 91 octane at 240 hp and 285 tq APR is 229HP/323TQ for 91. Unitronic 93 is 1+ at 250HP / 288LB-TQ and APR is 234 HP/333TQ.

Unitronic HP is higher for all stages but slightly lower torque.

Really? I see it as the opposite, SLIGHTLY more hp, but ALOT less torque. Then again, with all the factors going into calculating these numbers, the only real qualifier of performance are track time slips.... so anyone with unitronic have a 1/4 mile times!?

Btw, it's really lame how the new BMW 328 2.0t is 260 hp stock and has a manufacturers estimated 0-60 of 5.6, which might be faster than our cars chipped. They had an article on it at autoblog, saying how the new 328 2.0t is both faster and more efficient than the previous 335d. I'd say these new beemers chipped will probably hit over 300 hp at stage 2, but maybe not as much torque as Audis 2.0tfsi

Not only that our tuning is performed on a DTS Dyno, extremely accurate and precise numbers
