My car idles at 600 and the vac shows -9 or so. Its really rough at idle. I have an 034 high flow pump. it seems to idle pretty bad when its warm. My compression test shows 165 or so across the board and this was a cold test. No codes are showing up with Vag com and eurodyne. I deleted my vac lines for the most part except the brake booster and bov. I dont have a maf either. Have Ngk br7ke plugs gapped at .28 and new coil packs. I will paypal you 10 bucks if your advice helps me. I can pretty much diy almost everything.

Well I guess it wont hurt to check the plugged up area. Could my green cts be causing some issues?

So I tested my fuel pressure and it shows 50 psi or so when it's primed. I spent awhile looking for vac leaks but appears to be good. I re- gapped my plugs to .3 instead of .28 and it seemed to help the idle a little better. It used to show -8hg and now it shows -13hg but I'm still at 600-650 rpm. When I rev the car to 800-900 rpm it's very smooth and when I remove a plugged intake port to let air in and cause a vacuum leak my rpm goes up to 800 and idles better for like 10 seconds before it goes rough. I'm going to try and re gap it to .32 to see if it makes the car run any better.

Why would your green cadillac cause a problem?

I thought the CTS can cause the car to run rich, my car is running pretty dang rich right now. Although no codes are really showing up.

If anyone is curious, I was able to solve my idle issue with readapting my throttle body with Eurodyne dongle. Also, my tune was set for 700rpm for idle which felt pretty rough so I adjusted it to 800 and it's been pretty smooth. Hopefully no more hiccups.
