Steering wheel ! Cant afford the whole thing right now so I'll pick up the R8 piece by piece. After a month of waiting, it finally arrived and it was plug 'n play. Thanks again Bryan !

I have the exact same wheel and it's amazing how a simple swap (although not inexpensive) improves the driving experience. It makes me happy every time I sit in the seat and wrap my hands around it. Enjoy.

Agreed ! Had the Euro wheel in my RS4 and loved the add'l girth ...

I'm considering the TT-RS wheel. It looks the same except the leather is perforated at the top as well.
How much is the R8 V10 wheel going for these days?

Get in touch with Alex @ Europrice - it was on sale for $900. in December and for my car, this wheel worked with my airbag. The all perforated wheel was $100 more and the alcantara was my preference until I found out it was more than double the cost ... I did find less expensive wheels on ebay but not for my airbag.

Thx Bruno. I actually sold my wheel prior to pulling the trigger on the new one (purchaser is very understanding as far as timing). I think you could probably find a nice beefy flat bottom wheel on ebay for your B7. Many suggest tires are one of the most important parts of the car (that's all one has connecting the car to the road), the steering wheel is something that most overlook but man what a nice upgrade to enjoy every minute you're in the car !

But you could argue that the steering wheel is what connects you to the car and as such is equally as important! So good on ya :P Enjoy the wheel!
