Will that fit in a B6 02, i am looking for a clutch kit with flywheel for $500 max but i want one that will handle abuse. Any suggestions? And i have searched and the fx400 is a little out of my range and and doesn't even come with a flywheel.
Year doesn't matter, all of the A4 1.8t's use the same clutch/flywheel kit. Looks to be a South Bend knock off. Just a warning, when it comes to the clutch/flywheel you get what you pay for. That cheap expect the kit and flywheel to be made in China. Good billet steel isn't exactly cheap.
You might only spend $500 now but if it doesn't work right you end up doing/paying twice for the work, throwing that $500 in the trash and having to buy something else.

Good to know, i lifted my limit to 700, any kits available?
That clutch does not have a marcel carrier, and such will engage high in the pedal range like a stock one that is on its way out. It will engage very harsh and quickly making it hard to modulate during quick starts as you will be spooling the turbo a bit. If you like the easy drivability of the stocker but want a more durable one capable of handling more power and hard launches, get a full face organic one such as the Southbend Daily series' (stage 2 daily, stage 3 daily). I have a stage 3 daily with a slightly thicker than normal marcel spring to give me a nice stock style engagement.
What exactly do you want from a clutch? I ended up using a new stock DMFW because the SMFW vibrated so much under 3k rpm.
How light was it? Because I have used many different single mass flywheels on my A4 that I have had for nearly 12 years and have never had a issue with vibration under 3k.

The link in your main post was for a A4 1.8t and the Passat 1.8t. Not sure where your seeing TT.

That will not work for the A4 1.8t, it is for the TT and some of the other Transverse cars. The clutch/flywheel kits for the transverse 1.8t 5 speed always cost less and that price they have listed isn't even that good.

17 lbs. A buddy and I did our clutches and flywheels at the same time (same year b6) and they both vibrated bad at 2k. He doesn't drive it that low, but I do so I swapped back to a DMFW and it is smooth as butter again.

Could be that the stock motor is so out of balance that low in the rpms that the dual mass flywheel just soaks that up. My engine is full balanced which could be why I didn't feel it with my Aasco aluminum flywheel, Spec steel flywheel or either of my CM steel flywheels for my FX850TD and FX850SS.

That is what I understand as the problem from researching on here. I almost got a fluidampr to correct the problem but ultimately I was a little leery of spending almost $400 on a part blindly when I knew the DMFW worked to dampen all those vibrations.
No it doesn't, but then I didn't say it did. I just said I would rather not put a $100 China made flywheel on my A4, I wouldn't even put one on my Scion XA that makes a whole 95 hp.
