I did a search and found a good amount of info regarding the topic. I just want to make sure before I start spending money on it.
What is needed to do a complete USP swap? I have a non-usp B6. I read that certain bumper mounts may have to be cut. I just want to know what modifications must be done so I know what I am getting myself into.
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Joe

yup! oh and dont forget the v8 bi-turbo swap that comes in the USP.
lol jk.
LOL ^^
I would either pant the entire lowers on your car or leave them unpainted. If you are going front and rear, both those will need top be painted anyway, so the skirts will need painted too.
ditch the USP rear and go with an S4 rear instead.
Just my $.02
Yea, Im thinking the same thing! I didn't realize how hard it is to find these parts other than getting them from the dealer. oh well, at least ill know they're oem

Rock auto has decent USP lower replicas for cheap.
that should say 'had' as their shipping now is equal to or exceeds the parts price. Have your local dealer price match www.genuineaudiparts.com - which is also a fantastic place to get OEM parts @ a great price...

Soo, anyone know where I can cop any of these parts for cheap? Possibly FS threads you've seen recently or sales.
I got my S4 rear from Austin VeeDub in Austin, TX for about $200. It had a 3inch tear in the extreme bottom of the bumper where they sat the back of the donor S4 on an old rusty wheel (already had wheels off). Anyway, I paid my body guy about $50 to fix the tear and wound up with a $1200 bumper for about $250 (WITH the aluminum trim strip, mind you)!
Austin VeeDub was the only salvage yard i could find within striking distance that stored wrecked late model Audis. Granted there were only a few donor cars available at the time. But because I was driving there from San Antonio, I called ahead to see if they had my part. They gave me a quote over the phone and even went out into the yard to snap a couple photos of the part with damage and emailed the pics to me to help me decide if i wanted to make the trek up there (pics below are my own after i bought it). Once i decided to buy it, they pulled the part and had everything waiting for me when i got there. Good people to deal with. I'm not sure if they do shipping though. There is also Shokar (I think that's the name) in NY.
