    cooling temp sensor leak

    Ok today i noticed my cooling temp sensor dripping i did my coolant change like ever year in november. But it wasnt leaking now what could cause it to do so bad o ring? Or could it be the housing its self is cracked? I know i need to get under it and look? Just looking for advice maybe a common problem i dont know about?tok

    If it is leaking from the sensor, the o-ring is probalby what you need. For whatever reason those o-rings tend to get "used up" after a while. Probably the heat from the cylinder and such. But the coolant flange itself can also leak. The heater hose quick connect is another leak possibility. Generally a shop would "pressure test" the cooling system to determine the exact leak location, and then fix it. The crusty pink coolant trail will usually give you a pretty good idea of what is leaking, though. If it looks like the sensor o-ring, just pop another one in and see what happens.
