The new facelift flat-bottom steering wheels are here finally! These new steering wheels feature the same thickness as the original RS3, RS6, TTRS and R8 V10 steering wheels with same style of contouring, plus these steering wheels are smaller in diameter than factory round wheels and the original flat-bottom wheels. All are prepared to be plug and play with appropriate badging and a complete piano black trim piece for removing badging is available upon request.

Alex - Is the harness straight from the factory or you guys had to make some modifications to make it work for pre-facelift cars? Any coding required?
How easy is it to switch the paddles? (interested in the s-line wheel but would like alu paddles)

The harness itself does not need modification, however be aware there are some weird steering wheels floating around that will NOT work with the B8 models properly. Coding shouldn't be needed unless you are adding shift paddles when you did not have them before.

Switching paddles isn't terribly hard, but it can be pricey, especially on the pre-facelift steering wheels. I've actually got a lead on some aluminum paddles that would swap into the S-Line wheels as an uprgrade:

Aluminum Post-Facelift Flat-Bottom Shift Paddles - $130.50 pair

That would be the pricing to upgrade one of the above S-Line steering wheels to aluminum paddles.

Current pricing on sale for the S5 without paddles and any of the stitching options:

Installed photos of the facelift RS5 steering wheel coming shortly as well. These steering wheels are a bit thicker than the original style flat-bottom steering wheels, slightly less in diameter as well, very nice steering wheels and ready to install into your A5, S5 or RS5 in well under an hour. All functions are retained as with your original wheel, though the iNav button is not functional but navigation is still accessible by tapping the right roller wheel.

These are 4-5mm thicker than the stock round steering wheels. They are also smaller in diameter than the factory round steering wheels they replace.
