I got one for about $0.64......i dont even remember what i did with it. I meant to deposit it with a couple other checks i had but i forgot it and now its not worth keeing track of.

I think they were over charging on their fees, so it really only depends on if you sold something IIIRC. Not really sure though it was so long ago when I got my letter.

Mine was around $0.30 and the wife's was about a nickel. I'm pretty sure we deposited them but only because we had other things to do at the bank.

I say it's worth to cash even if it's less than $1 just cause it's with a reason. Somebody must have done something wrong and they have to pay for it. What if 500.00 people got a check for $1 and nobody deposited it.
Let them pay for their mistake, otherwise they'll do it again.

I received one for 0.34 cents and left it in buried under a pile of junk mail. The fucking lawyers are raking in hundreds of thousand$ or even Million$ while we're left with pennies.

in the UK, the loser of the a court settlement has to pay both parties' legal fees, if i am not mistaken.

seriously cuts down the random BS lawsuits where people get pissed at mcDonalds for making them fat or burning their mouths

No, I blew it off when I first saw it and while cleaning up recently I found it again, and was still just in humored by the amount. So yeh, it's expired, I may hang it on a wall somewhere.

on quick 2 minute research it looks like the 30 mill lawsuit and the yingling vs ebay is the same thing

if you got 40 cents for a 22.5M case, do you really think you would be getting more money if you got the split for 30 million? you would be looking at maybe 50 cents. the lawyers did all the work, filed all the paper work, did you go to court? or even much think about it? yes, maybe 7.5M is a wee bit high, but you are complaining over getting free money? money is money

^^I wouldn't mind filing all the paperwork in the world and going to court for a year if I knew $7million was waiting for me, but then again I'm not a lawyer. In all fairness we're not asking for millions but something reasonable; like maybe $10-$15 or even $20 dollars. That same month in Nov. 2011, I received three settlement checks (including ebay). One from a credit card company for $36, and we all know they have a lot more customers than ebay, and another from Vonage for $197.00! When I received the $0.36 check from ebay it was like a total joke, and when I found out what the lawyers got, it was a bigger joke. From thereon I stopped supporting them when I received 2 more e-mails from law firms regarding suits against Acer computers & Netflix. The disclaimers read that they would also get Millions and we will get anywhere from a USB stick, credit voucher towards purchase for any ACER product, and $0.04 cents from Netflix.
