ha would love to but not for that price considering 93,xxx all the issues that will be coming down the road im all ready $6,500 into my 2000 2.7 with 160,xxx put more in to the dam car than i payed for it.
ugh i mean i love the car but come on now i can never sell the car for any decent money, i put clutch, fly wheel, timing belt water pump, rebuilt the trans, front axles, mounts, and there is still more things to fix.
Thats ^^^ what a LOT of people say about AUDI period. Doesn't make it always true...
I know the horror stories about the RS6 but before the RS6 the horror stories were about the 2.7T! Which is what HALF of us are driving...
The reason that ANY car is expensive to work on now a days is because 99% of people take it to a shop... I have done $4000 worth of work to my A6 if it was done in a shop. but I have done it for $1200...
If I had a RS6 (hopefully someday) Ill simply invest in the tools that will make pulling tht engine to do a oil change easy... lol

A lot of the work can be done at home on these cars. And assuming the one you bought was well cared for you should be fine. Its the ones that were beat on and modded that require $$$. Love this car but personally I can't justify the risk or money it requires.

P.S. You WILL experience a slight insurance hike
Fixed...
Yeah, nobody told me that one until AFTER zee papers were signed...
Found a local 03 Rs6 with 93,xxx for $19,500 if any one is in CT and is looking for one.
One of my Audi co-workers went and looked at that one in Southington CT. Said it looked like it had body damage on the rear quarter. He's planning on buying one in May. To be honest, I've worked for Audi since 2001 and never see major problems with the RS6 besides small issues. I read about them all the time, but never see issues at the shop. Now the 2.7t, that's another story.

That's because the 2.7T is MUCH more common and far more likely to have the piss driven out of it and/or get modded in some way.
Cheers! :-)
