    Cabin/Interior Temperature Control

So problem # 3 with my 2002 3.0. The temperature control unit is set to "High" but the actual temperature coming out of the vents is slightly warm but no where near where it should be.
Does anyone have a suggestion on where to start looking? The heated seats work fine and the rest of the Temp Control Unit works fine including all buttons. Its just the hot air temp which
isnt anywhere near hot enough for the setting level. Air conditioning and colder temps work perfectly its just the heat.

Thanks in advance guys. Again, i did some searching around on the forums but didnt find a clear answer.

Just read a few posts on other forums and on goole and everyone points to the Heater Core. Hopefully the system is clogged or dirty and I can just flush it.

It can be the heater servo motor.. if you have VAG COM scan it for errors on HVAC.

Could be the heater core is clogged. Does your engine get to temp quickly (around 5 minutes of driving) and stay in the middle of the gauge at all times? If not then your thermostat could be dead, which could also be a cause of poor heat output.

    Thanks again gents....

The thermostat is fine. The engine temp for the car is perfect. I didnt have the chance to stop by a shop this weekend to get a scan but will likely do it this weekend. I am going to try and flush the heater core this week. I will also get the scan just to make sure there isnt anything else I am missing.

Thanks for the info Kwarner....checking now
