We will see. Should finally have them on in a week or so. Ran Koni's on my B7. They lasted well over 5 years.
My buddy has the V1 KW's on his 2008 B7. Seem fine to me.
I ran with price.
I had Vogtlands on my B5 S4 and those were great for the short time I had them. I traded the car in 6 months after I installed them. I also had Koni's before the Vogtlands and they were horrible. It was impossible to adjust the ride height on those without spring compressors because there was nothing between the bottom of the spring and the spring perch and because the bottom of the springs weren't grinded flat, it would dig into the spring perch. Terrible design on those. Only a few years after did Koni start supplying a plastic washer between the perch and the spring to fix that problem.

I acutally have them on my BMW 135i. Like the V2's they are adjustable for both height and dampening but the spring rate has more of an OEM type feel as opposed to a straight coilover. I really like them, and would definitely reccomend them.

The KW street comfort coilovers are similar to the V2 kit, but are setup with softer progressive rate springs.
The minimum drop is 1.25" in the back (without the spacer), the maximum drop should be about 2", though I have not tested max drop. The rear spring adjuster range delta is 1"
The front coilovers have a minimum drop of about 0.8" and the maximum drop must be close to 2", though I have not tested max drop. The front spring adjuster range delta is about 1" (there are enough threads to go beyond the spec range).
In the KW instructions, front & rear, for maximum drop, the minimum distance from the center of the wheel hub to the wheel well is specificed as 13.4".
