Popping in the front end

Have had some popping in the front end for a while now. Already replaced the sway bar end links, control arms and tie rod ends. The car is on air lift front struts and bags. I do have a code for an engine mount which I am wondering if it could be the culprit. It pretty much only pops when I hit declines in the road. Doesn't have to be a severe hole but definitely a drop in the pavement. Doesn't really do it when I hit inclines in the pavement. It appears to be on the drivers side more so than the passenger side. if I hit a small hole on the drivers side only I hear it, passenger side I don't in other words. Any insight would be appreciated. I'm thinking about ordering engine mounts tonight from JHM since I need a few other things too.

It is possibly your CV joints. Mine are popping now too. I can recreate the popping by rolling forward very slowly and then putting the car in reverse and easing the clutch in. It seems like there is slop in the joint that probably occurs over time. Check the rubber boots around the joints to see if there is any lubricant leaking or if the rubber is dry cracked.

Check your sub frame bolts. Mine was popping like I was running over walnuts or something backing out of a parking space.

Front axles were also replaced. The joints were blown out when I got the car the PO paid for the axles. Keep em coming its annoying more than anything. Need to bite the bullet and order the engine mounts to rule them out if it's not them. I need them anyway says my computer.
