"All a shop is going to do is build you a car that makes so much power, it would be up to you or a pro drag racer to see if it can actually run 10's. If it doesn't that isn't exactly the shops fault seeing that the car makes the power to run that quick. "
ding ding ding...
Obvious troll thread,
But don't tell teh folks @ AudiRev0lution that, they believe that if you can't get your big power car into the 10's then its not making big power...
Not 1 direct link to a reputable s4 that can hold it's own on the track.
Just a few people with a lot of power and plenty jokes. The people with over 500 should themselves in the neck for spending so much money just to say, "hey! look at my dyno graph".
I don't want to be associated with having a almost 650whp paper weight like guys that ran 12's in the 1/4 with their $25,000 worth of excuses.
Hate to say this, but trollface is right to a degree. When i build my car, if im not seeing at least a 1 second drop in my ETs after dropping 20 large, ill consider it a failure.

"Hi, I'm new here and all I did was search yet I know all about the arguments lately regarding high HP dyno graphs vs 1/4 mile times"
Call Waynespeed. Ask for the tuna, the strappa, the secrrrrrity, and the driva.

Yeah, cause the S4 is the ideal 1/4 mile track car, that's what we all built them for, right? Are you fucking nuts? There are far better candidates for a track car than an S if that's what you are into. I could build a Fox body Mustang for a third of what I have into the S that would dominate at the track. Do I fucking care? NO. Do we all live our life a quarter mile at a time? You people are a fucking joke. If you really care about 1/4 times, you picked the wrong car.

You just gave us plenty of excuses for why 600whp+ s4's are so impotent on the track. Can you please post your track times, or the amount you paid to have one of the most powerful dyno sheets in the world.

Excuse me but who are you to talk like that to me? I DO happen to take my car to the drag strip. And I consider the times it runs to be one of many measures of performance, and frankly, if I invest 20 large into my car to make more power, I expect a corresponding change in my 1/4 mile times.
I don't particularly care what other people expect from their cars I do care what mine does.
My money, my car, my expectations.
These cars have been proven to be consistent low 12 second, high 11 second cars at the strip with pretty standard stage3+ setups. I dont think its unreasonable to expect to see a lot more out of them after dumping a pile of money and making almost 50% more power over stage3.
Let's look at this a different way. If this is someone FROM Japan, I marvel at his ability to have mastered American passive-aggresiveness and backhanded complements. If he's STATIONED in Japan, he must be some jerkoff shut-in trapped on base because he's so stupid he can't find the exit. If he was actually IN Japan, he wouldn't even have to ask this question because they have tuning shops like Starbucks over there.
Whatever. Funnels, owls, ducks, B6 3rd gear, and all the other half-assed memes you tard barns come up with.
nthusiastt - ^ I agree, I'd just tell my girlfriend to grow some balls, because I love balls. Aureus1 - Everything needs to stop being so safe. We're robbing stupid people of their opportunity to kill themselves...
Rather than make jokes, you could have just posted your mechanics 1/4 mile time slip.

This thread is proof that their must not be any customers with 10sec s4's built buy any reputable shops. I was just trying to find the right shop to build and and tune my s4.
But you want to be associated with a purported 600whp paper weight that ran 14's?
Did that person try to do better? or did he do it just to show that the car can make it down the track unlike so many others who just sit on the benches ? I'm pretty sure that his time slip would prove on paper to be faster than a persons car who has not been down the track yet.
I will try to have my s4 on the track this April and I'm pretty sure my setup will do better than 14's. I would love to see you do better without giving 1 excuse at all. Just run the car and don't mention the weight of your car, what was and is not in your trunk, what gas you should have used, It's not fully tuned yet, I don't have the right tires(10.87) and any other excuse that you will try to come up with.
