    I have a 2004 audi a4 1.8t quattro avant.

The driver side is blowing warm, while the passenger is cool.

However, this only starts after the system has been running for a little while (like 30 minutes.)
(If I turn the system off, then on again. The problem goes away)

    Possible Problem:
After searching, some say there is a sensor in the vent that is probably bad.

    What do you think?

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

I just hear so that it can be so many different things.

Best bet is to take it somewhere that's licensed to handle automotive A/C systems. Could be one of the lines is blocked. Could be a faulty sensor. Could be that the system needs a recharge.

If you have access to VAG-COM (or a friend that has one), run a full scan on the car to see if there's any error codes being logged that might give you some clues.

Its the AC servo flaps.. if you have VAG com it tells why which ones falling.. the flaps get stuck when you change cold to warm it doesn't open and close right.

Do you hear clicking sound when you have the AC on or off?

Hmmm....I do hear like a clicking near the glovebox after I turn the car off when the ac has been on and when I start is up. Like something is "Shutting down" over there.

The flaps is stuck and the noise you hear the flaps try to open and close.

Check on eBay they have them I saw some for $35 used.
