so a couple friends and i decided to go on a spur of the moment little drive thru some of the local hills. it was a good spirited drive, nice scenery, and aside from being kinda cold, it was great. took some pictures, thought you guys might enjoy. It was the first real time i had taken my car thru twisties, as well as a first for the STi (he just got it, coming from an E46 M3), a first for the ///M coupe (he also has a 996TT, just got the coupe), and a first for the Viper. we were all very pleased with how the cars did, and it gave a chance for 2 of the guys to compare their current cars to their previous M3, and the current 996tt, respectively. i had to give props to the Viper for even coming out, with no ABS or TC he still drove very briskly!

EDIT... heres a little video. remember, be nice! it was our first time on this road in years, and the first time with each of our current cars. its not a monster pace, but it was fun! no sound, my buddy had the wrong cover on the camera and it just recorded tons of wind noise.
Am I weird because the Viper is my least favorite car out of those? 996, M coupe, STi, Viper, in that order lol

haha not weird at all. i dont think one could go wrong with any of them. the ///M guy (Matt) said he was very surprised how closely that car handled to his stock 996tt. (please keep in mind our driving skill is very amateur at best) i was also very pleased with how my car handled, seeing as how i had taken my stage 3 S4 on the same roads with these guys a couple years ago. definitely different machines. and thanx again!
looks like we will be doing this biweekly or so, so keep an eye out for future adventures!

thanx. hopefully we will get to do this every couple weeks. some of us want to do it every week, and we just might. and the STi buddy said he will try to load up the video on youtube... but dont get too excited. we were real "driving miss daisy" for most of it. really unfamiliar with the roads and to an extent, our cars and how they would react, so we took it kinda easy. hope to dial it up as the adventures continue!
there are a bunch more cars that we would like to get out. a couple years ago we did this drive, had a couple E63, a couple nismo 350, some ///M cars, and M5, z06 and a gt500. it gets to be a nice diverse group! hope to have more soon!
