    2011 S4 or 2012 A4????? Or keep the B7 A4

So I have a decision to make, I can't decide weather to trade in the 2007 A4 for a 2012 A4, or even a 2011 S4, the reason I say 2011 S4 cause it's essentially the same as a 2012 but a few miles on it and 5 to 7k less lol. I'm not one of these people who buys Audi's all the time, and can afford it, I work for a living. Who knows if in 2 years I'll be able to afford the payments of an S4, but I'd love to have one and mod the F#$ out of it, and I can't say I like the facelifted 2013 one, so I'd have to get a 2011 or 2012, and plan to keep either car for quite some time. Mostly just doing this thread in hope someone will make the decision easier, or tell me how they made the decision if they were looking at getting an A4 or an S4, since we're talking about 10k difference in prices, not to mention the stock HP the S4 puts out.

If I got the 2012 A4, I'd wanna get Premium Plus with Advance key, and sports package, and lip spoiler.
If I got the 2011 S4, atleast Premium plus with Advance key, and sports differential, don't care for the NAV my phone has it for free.

Been saving since I was in the military, and now I think it's time to upgrade from the B7 A4 to something newer.

I would look at it this way:
    - Your B7 A4 is a 2.0T so a B8 A4 will more likely be more of the same. I personally prefer the B6/7's interior to the B8's (had a B8 as a courtesy car once). If I were you and wanting to stay in an A4, is take the money and mod the B7 A4.
    - Just to throw it in the mix a B7 S4 will be similar in terms of interior/comfort as your B7 A4 but a world away in terms of performance. Should your finances change, then payments on a B7 S4 might be more bearable down the road. (I'm biased though because I have a B6 S4.)
    - The B8 S4 would be different in all respects to your B7 A4 and may represent a more "significant" upgrade for you, but at a greater cost. By the sounds of it, you won't regret it and I think they are only getting started with learning to tune the thing.

Great reply bang....That's what I was thinking maybe just keep the B7 and mod it, but I really like the new look the b8 offers both inside and out. The S4 would offer more of an upgrade to begin with without even having to mod it off the back for a year or so, but would cause a financial problem if let's say in 2 years I can't afford the 550$ payment lol, but could still live with the 450 a month payment although it's only 100 difference and don't see circumstances changing it enough that I'd be screwed, but I don't mind risking my life HAHA but I do mind risking my money lol, seeing as I work hard for it. I could go the b7 S4 route, but I truely have fallen in love with the new interior and options along with it's exterior more then I do my GF LOL. And I like the idea of being the first owner, or atleast 2nd owner in the case of a 2011 S4, but with most only having 10k miles on it, not much time to make to many mistakes and their's always a warranty. But it would be cheaper to hold onto my b7 and just pay it off lol and could afford the mods now since I won't be putting down that money on a downpayment for a new car. It's just a hard decision. Do I want the more HP stock but at a higher cost obviously, keep my payments the same I know I'll always be able to afford even if I lose my job, or get the A4 and own my first new Audi ever, and again know that I could essentially own it without worrying about it financially down the road but only at 211hp stock compared to 333 stock.

I already have a few quick mods picked out, possibly APR's dual quad exhaust, APR tune to start with engine mods, a couple rim choices, already bought shadowline for the chrome door trim, thinking of getting a glossy black plate filler and a tow license plate holder from Podi, since I need a front plate. Any other idea's on exterior mods post em up, the car will most likely be Brilliant Black, although I'm considering Phantom black.

Or keep the B7, nothing wrong with the b7 other then it squeels on cold start and when its warm it stops.
