Fuck. One of the worst experiences I've had with my car. Spending ~7 hours altogether pulling test pipe, installing cat, pulling cat, installing test pipe. After all that, still couldn't get it all the way tightened and had to pay to have it finished. Never again! Good luck!
air tools definitely made it a lot faster and easier haha. PB blast your bolts and we should be fine. i have a 12-point-spline somewhere that will get the exhaust bracket off, makes the cat a lot easier to work with if u just pull the whole catback. for me and cheetah at least lol
I'm down maybe next week if the snow is gone. I have the air tools and Arjun's 12 point spline drive so we should be able to bust it out. I think it took us about two or three hours to get his on.

Make sure your dv is up to date, that's about it. I am stage 2 REVO, stock SMICS, stock HPFP, full exhaust w/ tp. Dyno'd at 302 wtq, 221 whp I think. Let me double check. That dyno is only on 91 gas, too.
I totally didn't notice you were a 1.8. My bad! Still, you don't need injectors. I had a REVO 2 1.8 Jetta. You might have to upgrade the fuel pressure regulator, if you haven't had to already. I had to on my Jetta. I had a stratmosphere dv that was awesome.
