    Not good sizes...

Go with either 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 that is it. 45 is thick and you will have rubbing issues when you hit bumps it will work on a 225/45/18 but from experience do not do it!

Yes a 45 will work unless you have really wide wheels
    Sure it's a Stage 3 S4

Most people run 225/40's or 235/40's.

If you want a "meaty" setup, run 245/35's.

225/45 on 18s is probably too big a diameter, especially if you're lowered. And because of the AWD, you have to keep the diameters of the fronts and rears as close as possible if you're gonna run staggered sizes.

Unless you wanna get in to VAG-COM and recalibrate your speedo/test it for accuracy with GPS or radar or something, try to keep diameter to as close as the stock 24.97" as possible. If you want staggered, 225/40 18 in front and 255/35 18 in the back is closest, and the backs could definitely fit with the right offset and judicious fender rolling...I'm not sure why you'd wanna stagger on our nose-heavy cars, though: you must REALLY love understeer
